We began working together when Whitney (salon manager at the time) hired Macy right out of hair school!! Quickly realizing we shared many career goals; Whitney became a close friend and mentor to Macy. Working side by side as stylists, manager/assistant manager and educators we are so happy to add co-founder/owners to our relationship and professional resumes! Together we’ve shared tears, heartaches, celebrations, laughs, hopes and dreams! Similar in nature we both procrastinate to a fault, thrive in chaos and tend to be “always late, but worth the wait!” Our driving forces come from the support for and from our families. From our husbands to our kids, we strive to succeed in providing and showing them that anything is possible. We have become family in our shared 13 years. We’re beyond blessed to see our dreams coming true and we are so proud to have now created this society that we can share with you! Welcome to EBS!
Hey! I’m Whitney, Co-Founder of Empower Beauty Society! I have been a licensed Cosmetologist since 2010 even though I got my start long before growing up with a mom as a hair stylist and salon owner. I am passionate about every aspect of the beauty industry. I love helping my clients look and feel their best with my extensive knowledge and experience in hair coloring, cutting and hair extensions. In 2013 I joined the Matrix Professional team to become an educator and travel all over the United States to share my knowledge of hair with other salon professionals. I took that a step further and in 2015 I took on the challenge of attending the Loreal Academy in New York City to pass as a Certified Master Colorist. I love doing all things color and extensions, but I also have a passion for doing bridal hair and make-up. Helping clients look & feel beautiful is always my goal. I can’t wait to continue sharing my passion for all things beauty through EBS!
Hello! I’m Macy, Co-founder of Empower Beauty Society! Having been in the beauty industry since 2011, along with working behind the chair full time, I found joy in educating! As an independent educator for Wella Professionals, my passion and expertise for sharing knowledge has continued to grow over the past 10 years. Outside of work, I married my high school sweetheart, Tyler. We have endured cancer, fertility struggles, loss and lots of love in our 18 years together but through every hardship, we have witnessed greater blessings! Our biggest blessing being our beautiful daughter, Elsie May. We are a family on the go! Always enjoying time with family and friends!! I look forward to meeting you at a future EBS class!!
